The basic strategy in playing blackjack in a casino is based on mathematics. The strategy is tested and refined by a computer. If one follows it correctly

The challenge in playing blackjack is that you do not have complete information in which you can base your decision. All information available to you is the value of the two cards in your hands and the dealers up card. The dealers hole card and the next card are all a mystery to you. But the basic strategy helps you to make the right decisions based on the information that you actually know.
The basic strategy simply requires that you decide on whether to Hit
Stand or Double Down. A lot of players wonder when a dealers hand would bust or goes over the required 21 total.
There are certain cards that will bust the dealer more than the others. Possibly the worst cards that the dealer can have are the 5 and 6 then 4. If the dealer shows you a 5 or 6 card then there is a 42% chance that he will bust and 40% chance if the card is 4. The best decision when you see a 4
5 or 6 card in the dealers hand is to double down.
The dealer would most likely not go beyond the total of 21 if he holds the cards of Ace or 10 or 9. When the dealer shows one of these cards then the most basic strategy for a player is to take a hit if their hand is below 17 total. If it is the player who busts then he loses even the dealer busts.
Knowing the dealers bust percentage is good but it should serve only as a guide. The basic strategy is still important. If you are uncertain on what to do
memorizing the basic strategy card is a good strategy or you could bring the chart to the casino table so you can refer on it. The basic strategy will lower the casino house edge to the minimum possible.
